How do I place a personalized order?
Choose your item, select the options (color, font, etc.), then enter your custom name or message exactly how you want it to appear. If the product asks for notes at checkout, add your customization there.
What can I customize?
Most personalized items allow names, initials, dates, or short words. Some items also offer font choices. Check the product page for what’s supported.
Is there a character limit?
Yes, some products have limits (example: certain engraved items). If a product has a character limit, it will be listed in the product description.
Can I use symbols or icons (hearts, zodiac signs, etc.)?
If the product description says symbols/icons are supported, yes. If it doesn’t mention symbols, we recommend using letters and numbers only.
Can I change my customization after ordering?
Sometimes. Email us at hello@graceandgritjewelry.com as soon as possible with your order number and the exact change needed. If production has started, changes may not be possible.
How long does personalization take?
Personalized items are made to order. Production times vary by item. If you need something by a specific date, contact us before ordering.
What materials do you use?
Many of our pieces are made with stainless steel and/or 18K gold plated finishes. Some items may use brass with plating. Each product page lists the exact materials.
Is your jewelry tarnish-resistant?
Stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnish. Gold-plated pieces are designed to last, but over time the plating can naturally wear depending on use, exposure, and care.
Are your items lead and nickel free?
Many of our products are labeled lead and nickel free in the description. Always check the product page for the specific item.
Is your jewelry waterproof?
We recommend removing jewelry before swimming, showering, or using chemicals. Water, sweat, lotions, and fragrances can shorten the life of plated finishes.
How do I care for my jewelry?
- Avoid water, perfumes, lotions, and harsh cleaners
- Store in a dry place when not in use
- Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing
- Keep pieces separate to avoid scratches
How do I choose my ring size?
If the ring is adjustable, it can fit a range of sizes. If a ring has a fixed size (example: size 7 only), it will be listed in the product info.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Some items come gift-ready or include a gift box. Check the product listing for packaging details.
Shipping: where do you ship?
We ship to Canada and the US (and may offer additional destinations depending on checkout availability).
How do I track my order?
If tracking is available, you’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order ships.
My tracking hasn’t updated yet. Is that normal?
Yes, tracking updates can take time to appear after a label is created or during carrier delays. If it hasn’t moved for several days, email us with your order number.
Returns and Exchanges
Can I return personalized items?
Personalized items are made to order and typically can’t be returned unless there is a defect or an error with your order.
Can I return non-personalized items?
If the item is unworn and in original condition, returns may be accepted based on our policy. Please check the Returns/Refund Policy page in the footer for full details.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
